Melinda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and attained her Masters of

Arts in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. She has received certification and

training in Human Resources development. She received training at Beck Institute for

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Philadelphia and received a certification of completion.

Additionally, she has training in critical incident response and worked extensively in the

airline industry with trauma victims resulting from airline incidents. Melinda is a certified

Stephen Minister and Rainbows facilitator and coordinator for grieving children. Her Human

Resources background includes development of management training programs and conflict

resolution development and training. She is certified in Motivational Interviewing from the

Sciacca program in New York. Melinda is Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing

(EMDR) trained for Trauma treatment. Melinda has a Certification in Counseling Supervision

and provides this service to developing counselors.
